1.2 [APP] HOW TO SIGN UP FOR BRASTEL REMIT APP (WITH A MY NUMBER CARD - FOR JAPANESE NATIONALITY ONLY)

1. Open the Brastel Remit app and tap CREATE AN ACCOUNT

2. Agree to the Terms and Conditions by ticking the checkboxes and tap NEXT

3. Enter your email address twice and your password twice and tap Confirm

IMPORTANT: STORE YOUR PASSWORD

4. Enter the “verification code” you received by email

5. In the “Your email has been verified“ screen, tap NEXT

6. Select Japanese as your nationality

7. Select My Number Card

8. Read the information and tap NEXT

9. Read the information and tap NEXT

10. Read the instructions and tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of the front side of your My Number Card

10.1. Align the ID within the frame

11. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor with flash glare or cut off, and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO

12. Read the instructions and tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of your My Number Card from an angle

12.1. Tilt your device 45 degrees and align the ID within the frame

13. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor with flash glare or cut off, and that shows its thickness and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO

14. Tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of your face

15. The photo will be taken automatically when your face is correctly aligned and in focus

16. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor cut off, and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO 

17. Select your occupation and enter your telephone number. Tap NEXT. If you have a promotion code, enter it and then tap NEXT

18. Setup a 4-digit PIN Number. Tap NEXT

IMPORTANT: STORE YOUR PIN

19. Enter your name in Roman letters. Review the information and tick the acknowledgement checkbox. Tap SUBMIT REGISTRATION

20. Done! You will receive a message on your app once your account registration has been approved (in approximately 1 to 3 business days)

IMPORTANT: If your account registration has not been approved within the given timeframe, check your notifications on the bell icon on the top right corner of the app, and follow the instructions provided.
