1.4 [APP] HOW TO SIGN UP FOR BRASTEL REMIT APP (WITH ZAIRYU CARD ON A DEVICE WITHOUT NFC)

1. Open the Brastel Remit app and tap CREATE AN ACCOUNT

2. Agree to the Terms and Conditions by ticking the checkboxes and tap NEXT

3. Enter your email address twice and your password twice and tap Confirm

IMPORTANT: STORE YOUR PASSWORD

4. Enter the “verification code” you received by email

5. In the “Your email has been verified“ screen, tap NEXT

6. Select Non-Japanese as your nationality

7. Read the information and tap NEXT

8. Read the information and tap NEXT

9. Read the instructions and tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of the front side of your Zairyu Card

10. Tap OK when you see the message "Brastel Remit Would like to Access the Camera”

10.1. Align the ID within the frame

* Tip: make sure the background is dark and that there are no metal objects nearby

11. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor with flash glare or cut off, and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO  

12. Read the instructions and tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of your Zairyu Card from an angle

12.1. Tilt your device 45 degrees and align the ID within the frame

* Tip: you can also hold the card with your hand

13. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor with flash glare or cut off and that shows its thickness, and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO

14. Read the instructions and tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of the back side of your Zairyu Card

14.1. Align the back of your Zairyu Card within the frame

* Tip: make sure the background is dark and that there are no metal objects nearby

15. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor with flash glare or cut off, and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO

16. Tap TAKE PHOTO to take a photo of your face

17. The photo will be taken automatically when your face is correctly aligned and in focus     

18. Confirm that the photo is not blurred, nor cut off, and tap NEXT. To retake the photo, tap CHANGE PHOTO 

19.Select your occupation and enter your telephone number. Tap NEXT. If you have a promotion code, enter it and then tap NEXT 

20. Setup a 4-digit PIN Number. Tap NEXT

IMPORTANT: STORE YOUR PIN

21. Review the information and tick the acknowledgement checkbox. Tap SUBMIT REGISTRATION

22. Done! You will receive a message on your app once your account registration has been approved (in approximately 1 to 3 business days)

IMPORTANT: If your account registration has not been approved within the given timeframe, check your notifications on the bell icon located on the top right corner of the app, and follow the instructions provided.
