1. How long will it take for the recipient to get the remittance?
• Bank deposit: within 1-3 business days
• Agent Collect Point: 1 business day
2. Is there any limit on the amount or times when making transfers with Brastel Remit?
The maximum amount of remittance per transaction is 800,000 yen. In addition to this limit, some financial institutions abroad have different limits depending on the destination and delivery method. Keep in mind that the amount of the remittance may not exceed the maximum amount stipulated by the destination.

We may contact the customer in case of large amounts/frequent remittances to confirm further details regarding the nature of the remittance. There will be cases in that additional documents may be required.
3. How much is the transfer fee?
From ¥1,000 to ¥30,000 = ¥880
From ¥30,001 to ¥100,000 = ¥1,480
More than ¥100,001 = ¥1,680
Also keep in mind that the transfer fees mentioned above depend on the destination.
4. Will there be any charges for the recipient?
Depending on the country the recipient may be charged for withdraw fees, and local taxes may also apply.
Orders sent through Agent Collect Point will not normally be charged an additional fee.
5. At what point does the exchange rate apply?
The rate will be applied on the day and time the remittance is processed.
Please note that the exchange rate shown at the time the remittance request is placed is only for reference and may differ from the actual exchange rate.
6. Can I send money to my own bank account?
Yes, you can.
7. Can I transfer money from other countries to Japan?
No. Currently our service is only available for transferring money from Japan to overseas.
8. Is Brastel Remit refundable?
Normally we do not cancel confirmed transactions, but refunds can be made in special circumstances.
To request a refund go to Menu > My Account > Refund.
Note that you will need to pay a flat fee of ¥750.
9. Can I receive a transaction report for tax procedures?
Yes, you can print or share your Remittance Statement from the app.
Go to Menu > Transaction History > Print a Remittance Statement.
10. Can I register more than one recipient?
Yes, it is possible to register more than one recipient.
You can also change or update your recipient’s information at any time through the app.
11. Can I change the remittance amount of a request I’ve already submitted?
The content of a remittance cannot be changed after it has been processed.
12. How to cancel a transaction?
Please contact Customer Service. After the procedure is complete, the money will return to your app balance. You can make a new transaction, or if you want to receive the money-back to your bank account, you can request a refund from the app. Go to Menu > My Account > Refund.
You will need to pay a flat fee of ¥750
13. How do I know if the money has been processed?
The status of your transaction will be “sending”. That means we are processing your request.
